Chilli Shrimp with Garlic Asparagus

Ingredients:

8-16 Raw zipperback white shrimp

2 cloves of garlic, minced

2 pieces of 2 inch ginger, diced.

2 tsp chilli flakes

1-2 tsp salt

2 tsp black pepper

3 Tbsp soy sauce

2 Tbsp oil

1 bunch of Asparagus

1-2 cups of rice

Directions:

Clean and rinse off shrimp and asparagus, clip ends off asparagus. Put a small pot on for your rice or use rice cooker.

Use a frying pan, on medium heat. Add oil, shrimp, chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes, take off heat and place in a bowl to the side. Add asparagus, garlic and ginger and soy sauce. Cook for 5 minutes, add the shrimp back cook until asparagus is soft and the shrimp are an orange colour. Plate your rice, add your shrimp and asparagus and enjoy this light but filling meal! can also be used as an appetizer!
