Roasted Potatoes: (Start potatoes first. While they are cooking you can start the steak, as they don’t take as long.)

Ingredients:

3-4 Yukon Potatoes or even Sweet potatoes

Wash and chopped. You can leave skin on.

¼ cup olive oil

1 tsp salt

2 tsp pepper

1 head of broccoli, washed and cut.

Directions:

Add potatoes into a baking dish. Add oil, salt and pepper mix around so they are coated. Place in oven for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Boil water, and in a steamer steam the broccoli for 10 minutes.

Ingredients:

1 to 2, 6 oz Steak (top sirloin, rib eye, T-bone or tenderloin.)

1 tsp Kosher salt

2 tsp black pepper

1 tsp cayenne pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 small onion, sliced

4 white mushrooms, washed and sliced

Directions:

Coat both sides of the steak with spices.

Use a non-stick pan or cast-iron pan. Put to medium/high heat and add oil, make sure it is hot. Place seasoned steak in the pan. Sear it well on top and bottom. Time differs depending on how thick the steak is. You can use a meat thermometer to tell the wellness. Cook for 7-8 minutes for medium rare, or longer for well done. You can also feel the steak if it is very firm that means it is well done. Take the steak out of the pan place on tray or dish.

To the same pan add the onions and mushrooms, sauté until soft.

Once the steak, sautéed onions and mushrooms are done, check potatoes and broccoli. Plate your food, and enjoy your delicious supper! Add a glass of red wine and your night is set!
